Well, Purdue ended their weekend as Big Ten Champions, but the weekend began with an evening loss to their in-state rivals, Indiana. Purdue would hold a four-point lead at halftime before Indiana would start the second half on a 17 to 4 run, which would have Purdue down nine before Coach Painter would call a timeout. It all happened fast, led by Indiana's Star Freshman and future NBA lottery pick, Jalen Hood-Schilfino, Indiana would leave 2-0 on the season against Purdue.
