I am a big believer that a QB is either Accurate.... or Not accurate.

Lamar falls into the Horrifically poor at hitting open WR's further than 10 yards down the field category.

Like.... HORRIFIC. #35 in the league last year. His best ranking in ANY advanced stat was #32

His freaking red zone completion % was 37.5%. #54 in the LEAGUE!!!!

He was the starter for 7 full games and never completed more than 14 passes in a single game. He averaged 180 yards passing per start.

He had more fumbles (12) than TD passes (6) and TD rushes (5) combined!

He is one of the worst starting QB's in the league IMO and clearly deserves the label of: He freaking sucked.
I didn't know his stats were that horrendous. He definitely needs to figure out the passing game or he will be out of a job in the next couple years. But I tend to agree about accuracy.. so this might be impossible for him. Kinda like it was for Tebow.

I'm shocked, then, that Baltimore isn't trying to dump him and draft Murray.

Considering that Jackson accuracy in the NFL was 58.2 % which was HIGHER than his career College accuracy 57.0 % I think he showed a bit of improvement. His accuracy as a Senior was 59.0% and what the haters need to realize is that Jackson played behind a young not so good offensive lne every year at Louisville and Bobby Petrino and staff did nothing to improve his QB skills..Nada.The QB coach was Petrinos son.Jackson did not have a supporting cast on the offensive side of 6 or 7 guys going to the NFL.

DRJones you are full of it .Nary a whisper has come out concerning Ravens even thinking about replacing Jackson. So I call BS DrJones.
Haha... They'd have to give us 4 1st rounders to move up that far.

Thus.... They won't be trying.

I do appreciate a good "nary" every now and then. Great word injection my friend! Haha

He could end up like Tim Couch, Tebow, Kelly Stouffer, Joey Harrington, Ryan Tannehill, Manziel, Cade McNown, David Carr, etc, etc, etc...Is that enough failed white QBs?

Stop trying to act like this don’t happen. It’s the same reason every white basketball players get compared to other white basketball players.

I don’t see it as racist but it’s just lazy comparisons. So far in this threads Lamar, Jackson, RG3, Andre Ware and Vince Young.

I don’t see color bro type guys make me laugh.

I mean, the issue is, it's hard to find a lot of white quarterbacks whose mobility is a key part of their game. I'm thinking... Pat White and Eric Crouch? Nearly 20 years ago?

Aaron Rodgers? Tim Tebow? The fact of the matter is that a lot of white players rarely have that top-flight athleticism. I'm not an "I don't see color" person, but I don't think it's racist to accept that skill positions and rushing QBs are predominately dominated by players of color.
