That is how you build a perennial contender. Getting role players at draft slots lower than they were projected instead of drafting guys well above their talent level and then trying to lowball them in contract negotiations by saying they really weren't a 1st or 2nd or whatever round pick.

I thought Beanie would have been the first back taken with the possibility of Moreno or Brown falling to us at 31. I feel we got the best running back in the draft. Will be interesting to see which of the backs has the best rookie year.
