I’m searching for a list of the career leaders in points scored for the Suns. I’ve found the top 5, but I’m looking for a much more extensive list, at least 100. Does anyone know of a website that has this data? I’m afraid I may have to resort to opening an actual book, they still print those don’t they?

I couldn't find any larger list, but I did find the top-five ones you were talking about.

One interesting thing about the top-five lists is that they haven't been updated in two years. By now, Marion is #3 on the all-time rebound list, and will overtake Nance for #2 within a month or so. Marion is also #5 in Suns history in blocks, and will pass Lang for #4 around the All-Star break. (Edit: Oh, and he's also #5 in steals, with a good chance of overtaking Westphal for #4 by the end of the season.)

It still feels strange to think of Marion as the veteran on the team (as far as tenure with the Suns is concerned), but he is doing a good job with it.

That's exactly why I'm looking for the list. Marion has a great chance to dominate several career stats for the Suns if he plays his entire career here. So does Amare because he started putting up good numbers at such a young age.

Okay, this is making me mad. I have looked in bookstores, there are no books with Suns' stats. I've emailed AM1060, they said they get their info from the Sun's Media Guide, which only shows the top 5 in each category. I've searched the internet high and low. I've emailed the Suns' website, but received no answer. Someone must keep track of this information. WHY IS IT SUCH A SECRET?

Marion just moved into 2nd place in rebounds. Q is moving in on Majerle's 3pt records at a ferocious pace. It's interesting to watch the new Suns replace all of the old players' spots.

I have found lists of all-time Phoenix players, so I could grab the stats of anyone who played a significant amount of time in Phoenix and recreate the list. That doesn't sound like too much fun though...

The Suns Media guides are online. They haven't put this year's up yet but here's the link (you can load last year's with Adobe):

http://www.nba.com/suns/news/mediaguide_0405.html

Check this out in the 94-95 season Dan Majerle set these records:

Three point field goals made 199

Three point field goals attempted 548

Those are going down! Q's almost attempted that many by All-Star break!! Q currently has 147 made in 417 attempts!

In 1988-89 season, KJ set the mark with 12.2 assists per game! Get moving Nash! :D

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, the media guide only shows the top 5 in each of the all-time leaders categories. I'm looking for a list of at least the top 100. I'd like to see where Marion and Amare are in all the categories. If Marion plays his entire career here, he could really dominate the all-time stats page.

Majerle has 2,200 career 3pt attempts. Q is going to make the top 5 list in his second season and probably double Marjerle's total if he spends the rest of his career here!

I agree, it's annoying that these statistics aren't readily available somewhere. NBA.com would be the easiest place to have them. They already have everyone's stats archived, so all they'd have to do is add a filter to narrow the lists down to a single team. It would probably take them an hour.

Amare is going to pass a bunch of guy's ahead of him this season. The Matrix is already in the top ten!! :) Walter Davis' numbers are going to be hard to pass for quite a while. If we can keep JJ this off season, we have the makings of a decade of dominance! :) JJ better get on his horse scoring before Amare passes him! :)

Did you see that Q is already #15 on the all time list or thereabouts for 3 pointers made on the Suns all time list!! He's made 147, which would put him in front of George McCloud! :D

Yeah, he'll pass KJ, Rodney Rogers, and Eddie Johnson in a few games. I wonder if Eddie will be broadcasting the game and if he'll mention it. He seems to be pretty proud of his own 3pt shooting stats.

Casey did a nice job finishing his Suns career with 161, good enough for 14th place.

Amare needs 65 more points to pass Marbury for 19th on the all-time scoring list. Cliffy and Kidd will go down before the season is over. Barkley and Hornacek will have to wait until next year...
