Actually Graves will go to work as Human Resources Manager for 40year's construction company if he leaves the Cards. He'll be in charge of negotiating the union contracts. :D

Hopefully they don't expire on the same day. ;)

Not a bad idea. We could drag the negotiations out for about 3 years. Sorry gentlemen. We can't give raises out until we get the contract settled.:D

Why would the Saints want Edge? They already have Bush and Pierre Thomas who supposedly is looking really good in camp.

That's what Edge wants. He wants to be catching balls out of the backfield and has openly complained that the offense went away from him the past couple of years.

If NO plans on throwing to Edge, he will be more productive than he was here.
I haven't seen those quotes. My impression was that he wanted to "carry" the ball more, not get more "touches".

I also think there was very little faith in him catching the ball. I know he put up decent numbers as a Colt in that area but it seems whenever the Cardinals were trying to get him the ball out of the backfield he was dropping it. Not every single time but enough that they quit going to him.

I think he was just the wrong guy for Whis because they quickly phased him out of the passing game, goal line and eventually between the 20's. JJ was the screen specialist and TH was the goal line guy and neither make any sense if Edge was as good as advertised. Something wasn't right between he and the coaches and I can only assume it had to do with attitude.

An Edge thread is just not complete, until nashman shows up and tells us what idiots we all are.

Your all idiots^ haha just kidding guys! I thank Edge for his time in AZ he imo helped this organization but the time was right and we got a young RB that should be good. Sure Edge will have some success wherever he winds up, he has always been cocky and had a big mouth so I don't bother much with articles with him spewing nonsense, whats he supposed to say while looking for a job, "well I am just not good anymore winding down my career"? Of course not every player blames their performances on other things especially when he is trying to find a job, no big deal imo. He is no longer a Cardinal and not much of a concern to me anymore. Hopefully Wells and TH can prove to be a solid backfield for us!
