Lopez trade?

Agree. Trading Lopez to move up two spots to get a player we could have gotten anyway would be stupid. Lopez for the 11 is ok. It is not wise to devalue your own assets.

The actual rumor was Lopez for Udoh and the #11 which is just ridiculously unrealistic. In a more plausible scenario Lopez would be traded for the #11, allowing us to keep the #13, so we would actually be acquiring an additional pick. I don't think anyone is suggesting trading Lopez and the #13 for the #11 alone which is what you seem to be inferring with your comments. Most people would send Lopez and the #13 for Udoh and the #11 though.

If that the case and we could get Udoh, #11 (and keep #13) it's a no brainer. You do it. Hell, if we could trade Lopez simply for the #11 pick I would still consider it but I am not sure how that works with the salary stuff without looking it up.

Seriously, I could care less if we hang on to Lopez and if you can use him as a chip to some stupid team.....why not?
