It may be inevitable anyway. Draft, FA, trade, beg, borrow, steal to get at least two top line WR, and impact NT and ILB.

IMO if we get a top 3 pick we need to keep it unless some team offers a ridiculously stupid trade... we need an all pro and thats where most come from.

fortunately that top 3 pick is also top 3 in every other round as well.....so, say...#2 and #34... thats basically like having two first rounders.

Keep in mind, we have near $100mil in cap space next year and all the areas we are weak in are pretty strong in free agency. If SK is active and semi aggressive in Free agency we could find ourselves free to draft purely BPA in rounds one and two.

oline:

Lewan, Brown,Havenstein, williams and Jake Mathews head up the class with guys like Marpet, spain, and shaq mason for the interior

WR:

Brandin Cooks, Stefon Diggs, Golden Tate, Kelvin Benjamin, Devin Funchess, Martavis Bryant, Jermaine Kearse, Rishard Matthews, Donte Moncrief, Cole Beasley, Tyler Lockett, and Randall Cobb

LB:

clowney, anthony Barr, mykal kendricks, cj mosely, preston Brown, suggs, Matthews, orakpo and thomas davis will also be free agents.

DLine:

Geno atkins, grady Jarret, donkey kong suh, holati ngata, danny shelton, carl davis and malcolm brown, zeke ansah, Brandon graham, trey flowers, cameron wake, mo wilkerson and dion jordan

TE:
Jesse James, Jared Cook, Tyler eiffert head up the class...

there are also some nice options for RB to match up with what we have.. Jay Ajai, tevin coleman, ty montgomery..mark ingram, latavius murray ... are just a few...an older strong back or a small scat back might be a good pairing with DJ for our run game.

Lots of free agent options next spring. Granted, many of those guys will be signed before they hit the market... but there is a big crop of talent and invariably some teams will either have a cheaper option on the roster or just not be able to afford to keep a guy...many top players will be available to us prior to the draft.

Man, there's some nice names on that list.

I would rather that Josh Rosen progresses very well which could easily result in some wins, and thus a lower draft position. I am actually really looking forward to the rest of the season due to Rosen, and not because I think he will guide the team to a lot of wins, but because I want to see just how promising for the future he will be.

We may end up with a top three pick anyway. Unless Rosen gets hot and carries the team to get some wins.

Brandin Cooks is off the market for a change this next year, because we locked him up for 4 or 5 years.

It's a fan thing to want to clear house, but the few you want to keep will also want to leave because they don't want to waste their careers on a team that's blowing everything up. You also want veteran leadership helping the young guys coming in. The Rams were an example on how not to do it. We had the distinction of being the youngest team in the NFL for several years in a row, and we sucked. It's fun when you hear guys who are no longer rookies, get next to Andrew Whitworth or S. Suh, and the vets teach them technique. Our new 3rd round Tackle Joe Noteboom has everyone excited because of his skill and talent and smarts! Joe never leaves Whits side, and Whit likes to teach...

My two cents

Turn the League's annual financial structure topsy turvy by making the # 1 team priority "getting the the top pick in the draft."

Let the Card fans into State Farm stadium for free so they can root for their team to lose.

Then charge $1,000 per night admission each session of the draft (since it would be pro football's prime attraction).

New Cardinal cheer: "Win That Draft."

New Maddjak Banner: We're Number One (in draft picks)

At the #32 slot on every PFF ranker list would be displayed "This Space Reserved for AZ Cardinals.

Tie in promo with Weight Watchers: "Be a Loser."

AZ TV's equipped with automatic blackout filters. (Alt: Locally televised game automatically switched to Dallas game).

Annual Thanksgiving battle: Cardinals vs. Rutgers

Because, yep, it's just that easy.

Exactly, because I am sure Ram fans where overjoyed with years of suckage to garner all those top picks when simply axing Fisher would have been the solution... and who cares if we have an elite corner, pass rusher, a solid LT, and a top running back, our QB of the future when we can get funky and blow the whole thing to smithereens

I'm still in on lose em all, fire em all

If you're banking on the "fire em all" approach, you're going to be very disappointed next year. The likely firing is McCoy, which could come as early as the BYE week.

Michael B. wants to win, but he's not going to fire a coach who he hired personally in his first season and fire a GM he just re-signed and trusts. At the end of the day, it's all about the Benjamins, baby.

Honestly after watching them since 1973 I think I for once would like to get the #1 pick. This team isn't going to disappoint by losing nail biters so lose em all and get that #1 pick
Watching the NFL for a while, the number 1 pick is never a for sure thing.
