I think you underestimate his straight line speed. He is a freak believe me

His game speed on cuts and folliwng his bad route running, masks that alot...He doesnt seem to be that fast, but on returns im sure he would be

Doucet is simply a much better footballplayer, and Urban doesnt stand a chance. His only chance would be to try to make a good returner with that speed

I agree he has horrible hand tough, and he has a talent for making something horrible in important situations

I think Beanie would be by far best suited...Great speed, great ability to break tackles , not a starter

My Perception

Urban is fairly big and very fast but not that flexible. He overcomes his tendency to be a bit "straight-line" with fierce determination and work-ethic. He'll occasionally have trouble adjusting to a poorly thrown ball, but then surprise you later on with a clutch catch & run.

Doucet is a less polished (and slightly less dependible) version of Q.

They both have value.

One name to watch in the draft is that of receiver Jerheme Urban, from Division III Trinity (Texas).

We're hearing that Urban ran a ridiculous 4.08 in the 40-yard dash at a recent workout. On his second try, he clocked in a 4.10.

I wouldnt bet my left kidney on that DRC would beat him. Not in straight speed track kind of contest. If any cuts routes, backpeddaling are involved, i agree DRC is faster, and much more a footballplayer and looks therefore faster on the field

As a returner(but not for WR's at all IMO), straight line speed does mean something , that's the reason alone Garvin was so good at it earlier, it's not like he has alot of moves and can break down people regularly

Any fast guy as Urban needs to be tried out as returner, especially when his team's returner does a poor job

If i was coach i would try Beaine Urban and Rolle and from those 3 someone should emerge

We also could change our blocking upfront and maybe change some of the personel in some way of how they are lined up. They are a problem to just as much as LSH is. There is just no chemistry in the way we block and the way LSH runs. Sometimes im just happy when he gets at 20 yard line, it´s that bad...

Bear in mind that if he busts just 1 KR to the house his average per return will jump to over 25.29 yards.

30 returns at 22.8 ave = 684 yards
31 returns of 784 yards = 25.29 ave

It's a shame he had those 2 big returns in the pre-season..... when he was fighting for a roster spot. LOL.

Have faith my friends. He'll bust one eventually. And if not, well, at least he has good ball security and keeps Steve B. healthy and fresh. I am happy to have a rookie 7th rounder with enough talent to make the roster AND contribute. Way to go scouting team!!!
