LSU Gymnastics made history en route to winning its second-straight SEC Championship on Saturday. The No. 2 Tigers' final score of 198.200 in the meet's second session was the best score in LSU history at the SEC Championships.

The title is the program's sixth and follows up the 2025 SEC regular season championship. LSU posted a 49.450 or better in each of the four rotations and Haleigh Bryant finished as the all-around champion with 39.725 points while Aleah Finnegan tied for second with a 39.675.

The Tigers led after the first two rotations but fell behind Florida heading into the final. Led by Bryant's 9.950 on vault as the anchor, LSU retook the lead for good.

LSU recorded team bests in the SEC Championships on bars (49.600) and balance beam (49.450). Finnegan and Kailin Chio each posted a 9.950 score while Konnor McClain and Bryant added a 9.900 apiece on bars to open the event.

Bryant and Finnegan each scored a 9.925 on beam, putting them in a three-way tie for the title with Missouri's Helen Hu. Chio, Bryant, and Drayton were in a six-way tie in the floor exercise with score of 9.950. All trailed Oklahoma's Faith Torrez, who scored a perfect 10.

In the final rotation, the Tigers took the vault. Bryant tied for second with Oklahoma's Elle Mueller as both scored 9.950, finishing behind Florida's Selena Harris-Miranda's perfect-10. Finnegan and Lexi Zeiss each posted a 9.900.

In less than two weeks, LSU will begin its quest to repeat as national champions. It awaits its location for the NCAA Regionals, held April 2-6 before heading to Fort Worth, TX for the championships on April 17-19.
