BATON ROUGE – Thanks to a dominating third quarter where it outscored Florida State 31 to 6, LSU women's basketball ran away with its NCAA Tournament second-round game, 101-71, over FSU Monday night inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers and the Seminoles played to a one-point game by halftime, with Kim Mulkey's squad leading 50-49, but a demonstrative second-half performance blew the doors off the game.
