The TRUE test of a CHAMPION is how they respond when they're challenged. We took control of the Atlanta game only to lose momentum and yet we fought back and WON. We took control of the Carolina game early and fought off EVERY challenge the Panthers mounted. ...And finally, we watched the Eagles roar back from (18) down to take the lead. WE were on the ropes. Emotionally... Physically... And yet, WE fought back and found a way to win. A WIN that was acheived by this teams' strength of character & heart as much as anything else.

So, to those who want to say "lucky", "poor officiating", "weak" division, etc....
The Cardinals have earned this CHAMPIONSHIP and I for one will NOT be apologizing to anyone!! I AM VERY PROUD OF THIS TEAM!! :D

Officiating Wasn't Perfect For Sure...

But this benefited neither team any more than the other.

Philly fans will point to the no-call interference penalty.

But what about the non-call and non-reversal of the kickoff that clearly didn't go out of bounds.

Both the good and the bad calls all balanced out over the course of the game.

I agree 100%.

Anyone else notice that it was the same ref that made the call in both cases stated above by Mr. Gollin.

Only an inexperienced ref takes the outcome in his hands

1. Perfectly thrown ball that he dropped
2. Poor route

I think we are all just shocked because it feels like those never go our way! A lot of good runs by up and coming teams start with a little luck. The immaculent (sp?) reception? The Tuck Rule? Pittsburgh in thier Superbowl vs Seattle even had a phantom penalty if I remember correctly that helped stop a SEA drive. Gotta make the most of the breaks.

Maybe the fact that interference was not called was a sign we have arrived.
