Two clutch hits, actually. One to give us the early lead. The other to give us the final come-from behind victory.

Perfect time of the season to use him without tiring him out . . . and a veteran bat, while Goldy is working with the coaches on adjusting to the Major League curve ball.

Now with a lefty-righty platoon at 1B, that would be the perfect time to rest Overbay and let Goldy bats against lefty pitchers.
