I would be honored to pay a public tribute to Jim aka Skkorpian.

What sort of message were you thinking of on the banner? Just his initials? Born and died dates? That's the best I can do on the regular season games.

However, though I don't normally do the banner for preseason, I would be willing to honor such a great fan with a dedicated banner for preseason. Whatever you guys want so long as the message doesn't exceed two lines of 15 letters max.

Let me know and sorry to hear of Jim's passing.

I think it would be pretty cool if we could get everyone who is not a member on this board but still comes here to join, then get a total # of people that have joined. It would be a pretty cool tribute to have it be something like a card with his stats for how many people's lives he touched. Something like:

Jim Skane AKA Skkorp, ASFN (then have birth and deceased date)

Then "X number of members, X number of posts, "countless lives touched"." or something like that.

I don't know if that's too cheesy, just throwing it out there.

Jack C - One thing you might want to consider: Alert the local and national TV crews that you're going to put up the banner so that TV viewers across the country understand the reason for the banner.

Sorry to hear about this. It kind of leaves you with an empty feeling. I knew Jim was confined to a wheel chair, but didn't realize his health was failing as I haven't logged on since last football season. He hated Green Bay, but respected my opinions. Sorry to hear about everyone's loss.
