I like Fitzgerald at number 3 especially if the QB's go 1-2. Keith Smith won't last until round four he is more of a late 1st or early 2nd round pick. If Poole is there at 33 take him, but he grades out as a mid-first rounder. The guard I would like for the Cardinals to draft would be Chris Snee from Boston College. He is the best guard in the draft and could be a late first rounder (look for New England to consider him at 32).

Actually I had him pegged as a possible late rounder for a while now. I've been pretty busy at work and haven't been keeping up with the board lately. After I posted my Mock I started browsing several other Mocks posted here. I was surprised at how many other mock had Farmer listed(Not really seeing as he is a UofA guy). It made me laugh because I thought I was making a "surprise" pick.

Depending on his workout he may move up in the draft. Past injuries and playing for the Wildcats really hurt his draft stock this year. That team was a mess.

Actually I believe that Smith is more of an early 3rd rounder. This is a fairly deep CB class and it is possible that he could drop but I agree that the fourth round might be pushing it. I'm hoping for a compensatory pick in the third round which would definately help.

Another thing to remember is that our 4th round pick is the first pick on the second day. So basically it is like a late third round pick. It's a very important pick, usually after the first day a player or two that were projected to go early linger into the second day. We will have the first shot at these players if we do our home work.

2 CBs, and one G, S, DT, RB and WR.

Interesting. I think the mix is pretty close to what we're actually going to do. There appears to be little D line talent in the draft, the place where we need the most help.

Not sure that were going to pass on the opportunity to get an impact player on D with the third pick however.
