With another draft on the horizon here is my 2014 Cardinals Mock draft:

Rd 1 (20) Dee Ford - OLB - 6'2" 252lbs, Auburn
Ford projects to be a pass rush OLB in the NFL. He showed off his disruptive skills as the Senior Bowl this year where he was a consistant PITA for the opposing offensive linemen. Now is the time to draft Abrahams replacement where he can learn from one of the best for at least one year.
Rd 2 (52) Morgan Moses - OT - 6'6" 314lbs, Virginia
Moses has shot up draft boards due to his solid performance at the Senior Bowl. However he still only projects to be a RT. That fact will most likely cause him to slide into the early to middle of the second round. The Cards now have their man at LT in Veldheer. Moses would give an option on the right side should Massie struggle again this offseason.

Rd 3 (84) CJ Fiedorowicz - TE - 6'6" 265lbs, Iowa
Arians wants versatile TEs who can block and catch the ball. Fiedorowicz provides the blocking TE Arians covets and has the ability to make plays in the passing game.
Rd 4 (116) Dion Bailey - FS - 6'0" 201lbs, USC
Bailey gives Bowles the range he is looking for on defense.
Rd 5 (148) Bruce Ellington - WR - 5'9" 197lbs, S. Carolina
What's better than one Ellington? TWO Ellingtons!!! Bruce is Andre's cousin. While he lacks in height, he has the burst to get separation from defenders. Concerns about his height will cause him to fall some in this draft.
Rd 6 (180) Taylor Hart - DE - 6'6" 281lbs, Oregon
The Cards can use some depth and youth on the DL. Hart would represent great value here. Could be insurance if Dockett refuses a paycut next year.

It would be helpful if people put the colleges these prospects are matriculating from with their mocks.

Doh! I usually do. Thanks for pointing this out.

No problem. Thanks for the correction. I like this mock.

I wonder if the Cards are going to start focusing on size and hoping that they can somehow coach speed, particularly at OLB where they've been drafting size but not speed for a little while.

I think they would like speed guys. Problem is that those speed rushers fly off the board fast. Most are gone by the end of the 1st round. So the Cards were stuck drafting guys with more size than speed. That's what you get when you pick up your pass rushers in the 4th round and beyond.

The Cards have done a solid job filling major holes via free agency. So I think the Cards need to seriously consider adding a stud pass rusher with one of their first two picks. Do they need to reach? No. But if you have 3 guys on top of your board and one is a stud pass rusher then I think you tilt the scale in that direction.

Solid draft & I'd be happy with it, but Bowles is like Parcells & likes bigger OLB which IMO probably takes Ford off the Board. I also think if we do draft a TE, it's gonna be late not in round 3 because there's too much talent in this draft to let an impact player go for a blocker.

I like it, though I'm starting to really like Ealy more as a prospect for us.

I wouldn't mind in this order:
1. Donald (second or third most disruptive defender in college football)
2a. Dee Ford (smart, quick pass rusher)
2b. Kony Ealy (big, tough pass rusher)
3. Kyle Fuller (feisty, underrated cover guy)
4. Clinton-Dix/Pryor (different strengths)
5. Ebron (totally doubt he's available)
6. WR (I love top wideouts and it would allow us to part with Fitz, though I hate that idea for sentimental reasons)

I'm thinking Moses goes in round one; After Robinson, Matthews, Lewan and Martin, he's probably the best available. Many pundits have talked endlessly about the dearth of OL talent in the NFL right now, which will probably push Moses up. Certainly I don't think he'll be available by the time the Cardinals pick in round 2. Carolina brought him in for visit; I think that's his landing spot in round one, they can't NOT take a tackle early.

I like Fiedorwiczawickawiz or however you spell his name. I put him in the same category as Niklas and a bit above Lynch. I personally like Niklas a bit better, but there is only slight differences in the two; it's partially a pedigree thing (Notre Dame TEs).

I think the Cards need a more SS type than a FS type. Rashad Johnson is a solid NFL player, and I'm more concerned with having a true coverage SS than another center fielder.

I'm not to familiar with Hart.

Not a fan of Dee Ford. Especially when he got defensive and tried to say he was better than Clowney.

I like this kid. A mid round bargain IMO.

Bruce isn't quite the player that Andre is, but you would partially be gambling on the premise that concentrating fully on football after starting out as the starting PG on the Gamecocks basketball squad will help him turn the corner.

He could be an excellent, slot player with a RB type build. What I want to see is an end to the horrible WR screens using Fitz or Floyd, which neither really looked good doing last year.
