If the draft does go this way in the first 2 rounds Ace Hardware will completely sell out of torches....rope......tar...and feathers (do they sell feathers?).

Dave Ragone Rd 2 if the Bears don`t get him

<p>Buckeye---I know a chicken ranch we can get the feathers from. You forgot the rail though. Make sure you pick one of those up also and I'll bring the feathers.

OK....I guess I will be the 1st to say it.....I will not be unhappy with picking Chris Simms.
If Oklahoma wasn't on the Texas schedule, I believe he would be #1 overall. Personally I would prefer Ragone over Simms(not a Grossman fan), but I would be happy with either in the 2nd--assuming we don't draft Leftwich of course.

Why would anyone be pissed with Trufant? A potential shutdown corner is hard to come by. He would sure look great across from Starks for the next 4 years.

Simms is a guy who everyone loves to hate. However I think he has a bad rap. He has the potential to develop into a star QB. With the Cards he would have that oppertunity at a fairly cheap price. Don't tell me you guys want to McCown to be our only choice for QB of the future.

Well I understand your logic in point 1...corners are impossible to find, and in the pass-happy west it is a need. Plus, you might be able to find a servicable pass rusher in the 2nd.

Don't waste the #2 on a QB. If you want a QB grab Leftwich at #1 and be done with it. We already spent a 3 on McCown...either he is your QB of the future or not. :)

Oh, did I mention that Trufant can also return punts? Kills 2 birds with one stone!

Disagree again! LOL

If he is your true cover-corner, you don't risk him on punt returns unless it is the playoffs.

Ask Jason Sehorn :p

Tim Brown has been returning punts for years. Nothing bad has ever happened to him. It's football, you can't treat these guys like fine china.

Who cares? Are you hoping Bill saves enough money with this draft so he'll pony up for a boat for Bill Jr.? :)

It doesn't matter who they draft at #6, they are still going to have to pay him #6 money. If they don't want to pay #6 money then move out of the #6 slot.

I'm referring to the fact that they then would not have to sign someone else to be kick returner if they drafted Trufant, saving that salary.
