It's time to move on. Great teams are built through the draft and the Cards have a great opertunity to add to their team this year.

Here is my latest Mock for the Cards:

1) Mike Iupati - G - Idaho
It would be very hard not to go defense with the first overall pick. However Iupati would fit so nicely in Grimm's system. He is a monster and blocks with an aggressive style that Grimm covets. Cardinals will use him at Tackle where he will compete for Gandy's old job.

2) Donald Butler - ILB - Washington
Had a great showing at the Senior Bowl. Showed all the insticts that you want with an ILB. Could start right away filling in for Dansby.

3a) Al Woods - DT - LSU
Cards need some youth at NT. Woods has the size and strenght to anchor the middle and free up the LBs.

3b) Eric Norwood - LB - South Carolina
A versatile LB that could provide much needed depth to several LB spots in our 3-4 Defense. He showed great quickness during senior bowl week. He may struggle some in coverage as he mostly played DE in college. However he did show some impressive pass rushing skills during senior bowl week.

4a) Jeromy Miles - S - UMass
Has great range and good ball skills. Also is a very solid tackler. Will provide some depth at the FS position now that Rolle has moved on.

4b) Andre Roberts - WR - Citadel
This guy really stood out during the senior bowl. He consistantly got separation from the CBs and ran good routes. He is a tough player who could easily come in and be the #4 WR.

6) Dan LeFevour - QB - Cent Mich
A very Athletic QB who can can be very dangerous on the move. He has the ability to read the defense pre-snap and has good field vision. Is somewhat of a project as he hasn't played much under center.

7) Justin Walton - C - Baylor
Showed good skills at the Senior Bowl. Showed the smarts needed to play center in the NFL. Versatile enough to also play guard.

Nice mock but I don't think LeFevour or J.D Walton will drop that far.

Walterfootball.com has Woods as a 7th round prospect or FA. I'm not really sure that he has the build or the attitude to play NT. Those SEC teams tend to play one-gap DL.

Also, Iupati has a huge "stay away" marker on him for me. He'll be an over-drafted Reggie Wells. From what I saw, Iupati does not have the lateral agility to play OT, and Grimm prefers bigger OTs and smaller OGs to pull with.

Man... If the Cards had this draft, I would seriously begin thinking that Whis will regret his contract extension. This would be terrible.

iupati was a holding machine at the Senior Bowl. Please, I will shot myself if we drafted him, this team has guards galore on this roster. Maybe 2 legit OT's in Brown & Keith.
