A few days later and I am getting better with the playbook. My main complaint is that the shotgun sets should be a more robust than they are.

You used to be able to make your own playbook. I wonder if that is still an option

I feel like they have a ton of shotgun sets. If you hit recommended plays that is pretty much all they are. I think the plays under center are there just in case you want to use them.

As far as the overall game, I think its pretty damn fun. The graphics in 4k HDR on the Xbox One X are superb. I can't wait for the next gen.

This years Cardinals squad is legit on Madden. I play as the Cardinals in a 32 person franchise and im super impressed with the playbook/players. IDK if progression in our league will be like the progression @Krangthebrain experienced but I sure hope so.

Before that I lost his backup for 9 weeks.

THEN I lost my rookie 1st round pick for NINE weeks.

Butler is an 86
(Traded KeeSean for a high second)

Drafted a 80 overall OLB named Markus Morrison who is leading the NFL in sacks and is now a 90 overall.

Injuries are a bit too much and not random enough. My RBs and WRs are pretty much the only positions getting hurt.

I'm three seasons in. A slight increase but nothing too crazy.

I run Pro with sliders helping my run blocking and decrease opponents. The computer freaking cheats, beats blocks constantly and yet Jones wouldnt get clost to the QB.

Just traded Peterson and Jones. Getting older, too expensive and have young good players at their positions.

Found a superstar X factor pass rushing OLB who is ridiculous. Had four sacks in game one of the season and 2.5 in game two.

It's fun playing the draft and figuring out who will be stars. I look for high combine performance. Last draft I took two LTs. The second one I took was better than the first. Moved them from LT to RG and RT.

One has a star grade, took a corner with a star grade, a safety with a star grade in round two.

I've moved the injury slider all the way down to almost nothing because I've literally had six major RB injuries in two seasons. Its overkill. DJ had three back to back season ending injuries, his back up had two major injuries in one year, and then third stringer had two injuries as well.

So this draft I drafted two RBs and moved on from DJ.

I change plays all the time by change receivers routes. Change outside receiver to run an in route and slot receiver to run an out route. Open 90% of the time.
