I like when the magic number drops by 4 in 2 nights. I also like moving into 2nd best record in the NL. GO DBACKS!

It's been an awesome year. Too bad I haven't been able to see a single damn game, ugh. Can't wait for the playoffs.

CY is selectively swinging for homeruns at just the right time. The D'backs are the most dangerous team in baseball during the last few innings. Plenty of opposite field hits, as well as in the gaps and down the lines. Less strikeouts and popups. All of the things I have been rooting for all season long.

A good combo at 1B vs. the various attempts throughout the season. And all of this despite serious injuries during the season. And a bullpen with more swagger than BK Kim.

I love it! Let's continue to take it one game at a time. The players should have just one goal, as they apparently do. To win our next game.

The way I have it figured (I could be wrong, I did this in my head), if we lose all of our games and the Giants win all of theirs, they would win the division by 7 games. Not that that will happen, but I prefer to take it game by game. Just my thoughts.

Parra leads to number 7

Awesome! And what a season Parra is putting together!! On the team, he is 3rd in batting average @ .295, 3rd in OBP @ .357, 5th in OPS @ .790, 5th in Runs @ 49 and 4th in Hits @ 117.
And when you consider that he really hasn't been a regular starter until recently, and literally has 100 or so less at-bats than guys like Upton and CY, he's really had a tremendous year!!

Yup. He is easily my favorite player - works hard, hustles - just a good all-around player.

You need to get some fiber in your diet.

Ugh. Still at 6

:bang:

Yep... someone thought I needed some fiber simply because I refused to write us in as the champs of the west.
Giants have turned red hot and we are slowing down. Obviously, the odds are we pull it out in the end, however, I have a hunch this will be way too damn close for our comfort!!
We are going to need Kennedy and Hudson to be completely perfect, along with some semblence of an offense. Someone is going to have to get hot and carry this team from here on out...

Agreed - why I was not pencilling us in yet.

Those that say they are not worried about the Giants are foolish

Guys, calm down. The team is not "slowing down" - they lost two in a row (after an 18-3 run) including one to the best pitcher in the league.

If the Giants climb to within 3, then you can panic.
