If Ayton is strong he doesn't play that way.

Don't be surprised if Ayton checks out for the rest of his time with the Suns. This was the dumbest possible move, and I don't believe for a second that it was Monty's call.

Who would’ve expected fragile Ayton to respond this way to being benched?

Especially considering he responded exactly the same way after being benched after a good game LAST year...

Not if the mandate came from James freaking Jones.

why would;d you think it was Jones. Monty and guys ON THE TEAM have been talking about players not buying in... repeatedly. The fact that Ayton's benched makes it pretty damn obvious who they're all talking about. Laying the blame on Jones just feeds your fixation on him.

Suns getting the ball to Ayton now. He is not settling for outside shots.

And yet other than perhaps Booker on offense and Bridges on defense, Ayton has been the team's best player on both ends of the court.

If anyone's not buying in it's Baynes, not Ayton.

And based on what I have been hearing from both, I absolutely cannot imagine Monty making a bonehead move like this, while I absolutely CAN imagine Jones doing so (not to mention that Jones is the common denominator with last year's inexplicable benching of players after good games).

Is it humane to expect a really good player to play his entire career for the Suns?

Booker (16) and Oubre (13) lead the Suns in scoring.

Not with current management. Replace James Jones with a competent GM and lock Robert Sarver out of the building except for access to the owner's box during games, and it would be a much different, and better, world.

The Suns will have to prove that a 10-point lead at the half gives them an advantage. We'll see.

Why does Booker have more assists than Rubio?

Is it because that, even if Rubio brings up the ball, Booker controls it in the front court?

A Point Guard who's not a Point Guard. A Center who's not a Center.

Is that really the formula for success?

Aytons defense has been good so far this season and excellent in this game.

Apparently not good enough not to be benched for Aron freaking Baynes and Dario freaking Saric...

If Ayton was playing like a puss, what does that say for the rest of the team sans Booker, whom Ayton clearly outplayed?

I'm not sure how you could watch him and think he wasn't playing soft. It's obvious.
