One of the greatest QBs but the Broncos won despite him with their defense in the Super Bowl and what he could possibly offer them or anyone for that matter going forward... of course he is going to retire, he has nothing left in that arm which was apparent

Manning was far from the greatest athlete to ever play NFL QB. But he took the position to a place it had never been prior, and created the new standard for all that will come after him.
