Where are they going to play him, DH? They have Andujar, Torres & Gregorious at SS, 2B & 3B.

I would rather Machado over Gregorious.

While Machado would be a nice get fir the Dbacks I simply don't think they are good enough even with him to make a deep run. Maybe I am too pessimistic.

I don't think there is a chance that Machado will ever become a D-back.

But if we needed one player to be up in the 9th with the game on the line, to be honest, I'd take Machado over Goldy (as much as we all love Goldy). 'Sorry for being sacriligious.

Manny Machado Rumors: Dodgers Are 'Leading Contender' Ahead of Phillies, Brewers
The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly the leading contenders to land Baltimore Orioles shortstop Manny Machado via trade, according to Fancred's Jon Heyman.

Heymanadded that while the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers have an "outside chance," talks between the O's and Dodgers are heading "toward the finish line."

Jon Paul Morosi of MLB.com had reported Monday that Philadelphia was "the most likely destination" for Machado, but Heyman is expecting a deal to get done with the Dodgers this week.

By what metric do you say Machado is worse than Seager?

Fangraphs has last two season at SS for Seager at almost 30 Runs Saved total, Machado this year is negative at SS (although he has been a really good 3B in the previous years)
