Funny you should say that. I mentioned the name Anquan to my wife.

Her reply was "Where did you get that name?"

At least she didn't say "no" right away.

Congrats!!! :bday:

My wife and I are expecting our first also. Sept 29th is our due date.

Since this is our first, we're going to try to avoid finding out if its a boy or a girl until delivery.

We actually agreed on a girl name fairly quickly; however, boy names have been a challenge.

I, half-heartily suggested Anquan when we found out, but that was met with a resounding "NO!" from her. We've toyed with the idea of using Tillman as a middle name. Now, with all the recent events, I'm set on it, while I think she is holding out for alternatives like Marino or Shula. (Yes, she is a rabid Dolphin fan.)

Go Cards!!!

I wonder if you'll see some kids named Tillman going to school in about 4 or 5 years. I've thought of that myself, but I'm not pregnant and not married, so it doesn't really seem like a pressing issue. :)

BTW, Marino and Shula stink as middle names! Fight the power!

Congrats on the new born! It seems like yesterday we brought my 2.5 yr old home - I really can't remember how life was before she was born!

Let me remind you: quiet and none of your stuff was broken. ;)

You have it all wrong. It's not "any day now," my friend, it's "any time now." Literally, she could go into labor right now. You are 2cm away from the hospital.

Stay near the phone if you're not at home.

I did all the labor coach-stuff for hours with my wife, then they said "forget it. Baby's too big, we're going in C-style." So I took pictures because my wife wanted me to. It was gross.
