We've reached the Sweet 16 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament and the field that remains for the regional semifinals is a who's-who of heavy hitters and some of the best teams throughout the season.
Just four of the top 16 teams seeded in this year's March Madness field (St. John's, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and Iowa State) have been eliminated thus far, leaving the majority of the remaining field as the best of the best.
But which team will be able to move into the Elite 8 and move another step closer to the Final Four?
SWEET 16
Michigan def. Auburn — Tigers have been teetering as of late and Michigan is surging. Plus this was my prediction from the start and that's not changing
Michigan St. def. Ole Miss — Look for this to be a rock fight with two defensive-minded teams. Also staying with my projection from earlier (nailed last four teams in this region, by the way).
ELITE 8
Michigan State def. Michigan — Nothing I've seen makes me think my Selection Sunday pick should be changed. Sparty marches on.

SWEET 16
Arizona def. Duke — Picked this result a week ago, and while Duke looked amazing in the first two weeks, it's not like Baylor was some sort of juggernaut. Wildcats avenge the regular-season loss.
Alabama def. BYU — If you thought BYU-Wisconsin was a lot of fun to watch for the offenses, this one should trump it. Alabama has too much fire power for BYU to contain, though.
ELITE 8
Arizona def. Alabama — Had Saint Mary's making the run to this game, but we'll just say Arizona's winning it regardless to go to the Final Four.

SWEET 16
Houston def. Purdue — My upset pick of Gonzaga over Houston didn't come together, and Purdue doesn't have the kind of size needed to deal with the Cougars.
Tennessee def. Kentucky — I hate reruns. Vols get this one.
ELITE 8
Houston def. Tennessee — Changing it up on this one. Had Tennessee beating Gonzaga, so we'll switch it to Houston getting it done.
SWEET 16
Florida def. Maryland — It would not shock me if Maryland pulls it off, but Florida is still really good.
Texas Tech def. Arkansas — The Red Raiders being the secondary focus of this game should play into their hands. Let everyone else talk about John Calipari, then win the game.
ELITE 8
Florida def. Texas Tech — Another pick I had from the jump that isn't changing.
