Marcin has a great attitude. That pass by Nash really hit him in the head hard but he just shook it off. I'm glad he feels his shoulder will be okay. It was funny to hear how he was really thinking about taking a 3 point shot if he got to 20 rebounds.

He's no Pekovic or Robin Lopez though.

Pretty eventful night all the way around, especially in light of Kobe's complaining about management after the game. He dissed them for the way they are handling Pau Gasol trade scenarios and rumors. Once again, all is not right in la la land.

Especially since it's a safe bet that Gasol will see through it and realize Kobe is blaming him for their inconsistent play.

Did anyone see Kobe chewing Gasol out on the bench? It appeared to be heated on Kobe's part. Gasol just seemed to be listening. Eddie Johnson commented on it but discounted it as something that happens in the NBA as part of the game. It looked like more than that to me.

It wouldn't be surprising either. Kobe has shown a lack of loyalty to his team mates over and over through the course of his career. It was Shaq's fault, he wants Bynum gone, he wants that player gone and now it's Gasol's fault.

Doesn't matter he still has the rings. He knows what it takes to win a championship and he'll b***h all he wants to get the right players to win a ring.

Suns have never had that kind of a player. We have always had shy, humble guys who won't whine and complain to the FO and that's one of the reasons why we have exactly 0 championships.

We had Dennis Johnson and Maurice Lucas, together, and Old Ironpants John MacLeod made sure they were gone before too long.

I call B.S.

You can get the same thing done behind the scenes without being a tool.

I see it a different way. I think he's the most talented player to ever grace a basketball court. I think his uncontrolled ego, his selfishness and his inability to be a motivating influence on his teammates knock him out of the top 10. Had he even a fraction of the understanding of what it takes to win rings that Jordan had, the Lakers would have had a championship string that eclipsed the Boston Celtics.

MJ wasn't a nice guy by any means but he knew to how to drive his players forward rather than beat them into submission. The league has never seen a duo with the potential that Kobe and Shaq had. Every year they played together and didn't win a championship was an embarrassment. Then, while still in his prime he played alongside Gasol, Bynum and Lamar Odom. That foursome should have never lost a playoff game, let alone a series.

If the Lakers management was smart, they'd start rebuilding right now. The Heat look like a championship team and the Lakers look like a squad with a lot of disparate pieces. Lamar's flexibility made that team work AFAIC. They should find some hapless sucker willing to give up a young stud and a couple of unprotected picks and put themselves into position for their next dynasty. Kobe is still good enough to take a contending team to the next level but he's run his mouth once too often, IMO.

Yea but in Kobe's defense, how many times was Bynum healthy in the playoffs when Gasol, Odom and Kobe were all in their prime. And Odom is one of the most inconsistent players in the NBA, even LAL fans know it.

And I agree LA should rebuild but if you think they are gonna trade Kobe to make that happen then its crazy. Kobe will retire a Laker that's guranteed.
