Trade for Albert. Lattimore in the 3rd. Mathieu in the 4th. This team needs playmakers.

I like Lattimore, but 3rd round is way too high for a guy with major injuries AND lots of carries in his career.

I'm a borderline Gamecocks fan and I'd rather have DJ Swearinger.

I am fearful that the 49ers take him, with all those draft picks. He might not do much this year, and maybe never will. But he is certainly worth the shot for a team with that many picks.

Big injuries, yes...carries, no. Dude only had 555 for his career...that's like 1 1/2 years in the NFL...or 1 year, if you're Jamal Anderson.

We have a playmaker.

It is hard to see a guard as a playmaker, but when he pulls, and gets that kick out block to spring a running back for a huge run, it will make more sense.

Or when Palmer steps up into the pocket and hits Larry Fitzgerald deep, it will make more sense.

Mathieu is going to be there in the 4th, at least that is what I see happening, and I also see the Cardinals picking him there.

It would be awesome.

Mathieu missed a couple of team meetings last week.

Now some people might think that's no big deal. Some teams will see that they couldn't finish a simple process of meeting with teams.

There are claims he was sick. Well did he reschedule or call them or what?

Mathieu in the 4th makes more sense. But I still don't know if I'd pick him. Mathieu? Schwenke? Does Jones fall? Etc, etc.

Generally Wolfley is nice to current players, but he ripped into Albert yesterday right before the draft. Said he is lazy, takes plays off, and only wants to get paid. Said he doesn't want to play RT on the Chiefs because LT's make more money. Said he isn't real smart.

Coming from Wolf, it was a bit of a shocker (I could see it from Doug), and no one on the pre-draft panel, including Mark May, said anything to disagree with him.
