Ravens | Robinson may Visit After Draft - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
7:58 PT: The Baltimore Sun reports the Baltimore Ravens may have free agent WR Marcus Robinson (Bears) in for a visit after the NFL Draft. Robinson’s agent, Ken Sarnoff, noted that Robinson would be interested in the Ravens.

Patriots | Robinson a Target? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
7:33 PT: The Boston Herald reports the New England Patriots have talked with free agent WR Marcus Robinson (Bears). However, it appears the Patriots will wait until after the NFL Draft before moving forward on a veteran wide receiver. The team told his agent to wait until after the NFL Draft is complete.

Why haven't we brought him in yet??? Why wait 'til Monday??? We'll end up waiting and be a "dime short and a day late"!!!

Key words in bold.....How can he sign with them after the draft, if he signs with us before the draft?

If the team wants him, he is ours.

I Thought

I thought Robinson wanted to sign BEFORE the draft.

I think he or his agent said that and would make more sense....after the draft a team may have picked up a WR that dropped or someone they're really sold on and will tell Mr. Robinson to get lost in space (minute movie reference).

Anyone questioning his talent/health are wondering why so many teams seem to be showing interest in him? I am telling you right now, this guy is ready to get back to where he was. He is driven to do so.

The Cardinals are totally in the drivers seat for signing him. They are the only team that will see him before the draft. Robinson's agent HAS to try and make public that other teams are interested. Even teams saying MAYBE after the draft gives him at least a little leverage when he talks numbers with the Cards. Neither one of those teams makes much sense for Robinson if he truly wants to prove he's a top WR. Which I think he does.

We would be in much better position in the draft if we signed Robinson. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I will be pissed if we end up taking a receiver with the sixth pick in the draft. Yes, even if it's Charlie Rogers. If we traded down for two picks in round one, then I wouldn't mind a round one pick of a receiver.

From what I can see....now this would be a risk well worth taking. Let's get him signed!!!
