Marion is having a monster 3rd quarter and looks great tonight. This is why we pay this guy the max.......... Great player....

But that is something that Shawn Marion always did in the past as well.
Suck for 2 quarters or do nothing and then do all in a couple of quarters.
Not exactly perfect to have that type of inconsistency.

The pattern with Marion is like:

His teammates play well first.
This leads to confusion in opponents' defense.
Meaning Marion's quickness is of some use.
He becomes effective with the space created by his teammates.

So, it's not surprising to see what we have today. It's most every game like that.

Maybe he is thinking too much that he has to be the leader of this team right now and tries to do to much when he simply can't be the leader of a team he can't take over a game on his own.

I am just pointing out that ALL of his baskets were products of another player creating for him. All of his baskets were on assists by JJ or Jacobsen and one by Eisley according to the box at least.

Without someone creating for him, Shawn is just lost out there if he has a defender staying infront of him.

No the product of his baskets was Marion being aggressive moving without the ball...establishing position...and THEN getting the ball from someone else.

I didn't even come close to any of the wrong ideas until you posted that....

I like Marion, he may not be able to create that much on his own or take a game over, but he will be a great 3rd option. I would choose him over Kobe even with his court case anyday.

Hate to disappoint the haters, but every day that goes by is another day closer to this trial being thrown out. Those lightweight prosecutors look to be holding on by a thin thread--if this goes on for another couple months, it's over. It isn't going to trial because it won't even get that far.

Pretty much. Everytime I read an article now it talks about how the defense is just killing the prosecution.

Is anyone honestly surprised by this though? I think everyone knew in the back of their heads he would be cleared reguardless of whether he did it or not.
