The words "Marion", "extension" and "Suns" shouldn't be used in the same sentence right now. Unless it's "The Suns better not give Marion an extension."

So true!:D

Not that this message board foreplay isn't incredibly entertaining, but what I took out of the article was that Marion did not know what was true and not true about the trade offers regarding him. This would seem to put to bed the idea that he quashed a KG to Phoenix trade since he would have had to know about it in order to kill it. Can we show the man some love now????

It wasnt the kg to phx deal he quashed, sources said he quashed the bos-phx trade for ratliff/west/telfair/#5

I think it was indirectly confirmed by a resident poster with confidential sources

if it's the same poster I'm thinking of, it wasn't the above deal, but was really the KG deal that Marion nixed (which involved the three-way) - at least, that was the info I got.

Actually I don't think that's right. My understanding was that Minnesota was never willing to trade KG unless they got Jefferson. I think it was that first deal that got nixed when Shawn Marion would not agree to whatever extension Boston was offering.

When I talk to him later tonight or tomorrow I'll ask him, but I think a lot of that time he was combining rumors with the news that he was getting. I'm pretty sure it was the original deal though.

just like the Suns were NOT trading KT this year, right George? I love these statements of fact from you as if you know better than everyone else, even though you are consistently proven wrong about these statements, time and time again.

Not too hate, but I read this board pretty much every thread and post, religously and not too get anyone mad, I love all you guys, but Georges, Walter Mitchell and sometimes Skorp, are just on Planet Jupiter with some of your thoughts. Love your guys posts, but sometimes they are way offbase.

I'm in your boat, People have dogged me hard and as a result when I reply I go to the Pen box many times, I just lump it like I'm Ron Artest. I never get personal, but if people don't agree with you, you get the happy BYE BYE

Oh okay. Bickley is a "bad guy" ?? I did not know that. Interesting..

Curious, do you have an explanation over why Marion said, "Nope" over seeing Amare play in Vegas and why he was a no-show?

It doesn't cross your mind that Marion might be........bitter over something?

Why havn't the Suns given Marion an extension? Same thing happened to Joe Johnson and he fled the season after.

Yeah the real explanation is a lot less dramatic.

Marion doesn't enjoy watching basketball. I've read this, and seen this, in interviews with him. He does not enjoy watching the game. He likes to play. So the simple reason why Shawn isn't watching Amare is because Shawn finds watching basketball to be boring.

It has nothing to do with being jealous of Amare.

But he probably still is...this just isn't why...

The only thing scarier than thinking of Marion as a complicated person is thinking of Marion is a very simple person. Having spoken with him a several occasions, I have no freakin' clue which is the truth. In the public, he has all the charisma of a room-temperature potato.
