A wise man once told me basing on assumption is never a good thing.

Then why do you constantly assume to know what you're talking about when it comes to the Suns?

Here is a quote from you in the thread about Amare:

Somebody give me a glass of gin or whiskey please...........straight up. No ice. I need to lay down a bit and disgest this information.

Oh lord. I cannot believe this crapp. Either Suns make a trade soon or get Marks, Skinner, and Diaw to prepare for hardcore minutes.

You're assuming that Amare's knee is going to keep him out for a large portion of the season, yet apparently he won't misss a game.

Same thread:

Can u say ANDERSON VAREJAO?

Sarver should hit the phones (or text) and try to get a hold of this guy NO MATTER WHAT IT COSTS!

Suns do have a trade exemption. Forget Luxury Tax. This is an emergency.

This is an emergency right? All based off an assumtion, on your part, that Amare was out.

You're trying to scold me for assuming Shawn was just having a good time with the media, something he is known for, something that is perfectly reasonable. Yet it's OK for you to play chicken little and scream the sky is falling in another situation?

Nice double standard.

Here is a complete gem though:

Wow. A bunch of clueless people running up and down these boards.

A wise man once told me that you shouldn't complain about your neighbor's yard when your own yard is a mess.

You mean "you're," its a contraction of "you" and "are."

You are absolutely correct, however, if we're going to crack down on spelling and grammar it will no longer be a Suns board unless were talking about Suns bored. I make the same mistake many times and know better but I make it when trying to get my message out quickly. In regard to other posters I try to sift the gold out of the gravel unless it really gets bad. The lack of capitalization is something that I really dislike but I try to live with it.

Anyway there are enough grammatical errors that are posted that could hinder most all the posters if enforced. Also pointing out bad spelling or grammar is used frequently to stifle communication... but I'm not talking about you.

PS: Please don't evaluate the above because I'm sure you can find some mistakes. :)

I'm not sure I know the answer. I think putting Amare on Duncan may not be the best choice because of foul difficulties.

The real key is whether Duncan has to guard Amare. In the playoffs of 2004-05 Amare smoked Duncan for an AVERAGE of 37.0 ppg on 55% shooting. This year he did "OK", 26.0 ppg ON 55.9% against the combination of Oberto/Elson/Horry. Duncan just played the weakside and would come over to make blocks and was in position to guard the basket.

It is hard to imagine that Amare could "stop" Duncan. This year with KT on him, Duncan averaged 26.8 pp. In 2004-05 Duncan averaged 27.4 ppg. The Suns overall defense was better this year so this is not a case for playing small, but forcing the Spurs to play small causes some interesting problems for them.

Oh I'm not a grammar Nazi, it's just the "you're" and "your" and "there," "their" and "they're" that annoy me, since they are so easily correctable.
