He needs 23 rebounds in the next game to pass Howard for the league leader in rebounds.

Wouldn't bet against him right now.

Granted, I'd rather he was in a position where he didn't have to play as much, but if there is a player that can play 82 games + playoffs without losing a step, it's Marion.

last year against the spurs marion got 12 rebounds a game. now the spurs defense was set up to stop him and as the 3rd option on the team it isnt that hard to do when you dont many touchs so give marion a brake.

Getting Older? This guy is in his 20s - No one expects him to pay at this level when he reaches mid 30s... By then he will have 2-3 championship rings* to wear while he enjoys all the rest and relaxation by the pool in retirement.

*assuming Stat comes back healthy and plays like the monster and freak that he is; Nash still gives us another 3 good years; Diaw continues his development and remains a Sun; D'Antoni remains head coach

No, last year it was mostly Q not being able to play defense that burned us in San Antonio. Thus, he bcame expendable for the Kurt Thomas trade.

so give marion a brake.
Don't misunderstood me. I am a big marion fan.
This is why I think that sometime he should be preserved.

Shawn never look tired and always give 100%. That is why we love him. I don't want to see him broke.

Finally Shawn wasn't bad against the spurs (IMO he was pretty good) but he wasn't great.

Look at the actual subpar Duncan... I guess he will be great in a few month.

Dallas : Nowitzki played 2056 minutes
SA : Duncan 1952, Parker 1947
Detroit : Hamilton 2085

Marion : 2306

I believe it can count when playoff time will come. I hope I am wrong.

One more thing :
MARION MVP

Looks like Marion is going to steal Nash's votes this year. :)

First, I think that Nash is clearly the MVP, as what ? 7 suns players are having career years. Nobody makes players around him better more than Nash. I find it ironic that the suns embarrass Pat Riley and the Heat and Riley starts comparing Nash to Magic. I expect that Riley considers Magic(not MJ) as the best player to ever play the game.

Shawn is amazing though, and it appears that he's getting better moving without the ball, and finding spots to take good open shots in the defense. I think that Shawn is probably one of the quickest SF's to ever play the game. He is also the sun who is most likely to play alot of minutes and still deliver. He must have the heart of a distance runner. Anyway if TT is signed, D'Antoni will be able to give shawn more rest.
