Here's a hunch.. I see Notre Dame beating USC (don't ask me why, just call it a hunch), and with Michigan having worked Notre Dame earlier this season, if the Irish get in over the Wolverines, it'd be a crime.

I just forsee it. The only other team that I see getting the nod ahead of them is USC.

Depends, if USC beats ND but it's close, they have no argument, Michigan blew out ND. If USC loses, no argument, if they blow out ND, then you have an argument because they've have convincing wins over Arkansas, ND and Cal all in the same year.

USC really impressed me last night, sure Longshore stunk it up(first year starter I should be patient with his bad games) and Cal turned it over too much but USC forced those TO's. That seconardy is really coming on, Gable was terrific running the ball.

Cal never seemed to fully recover from the TD fumble return that was overruled, and USC just picked them apart in the 2nd half, Booty was really impressive.

USC and Michigan are pretty interesting contrasts, I guess at this point I'll pull for USC rather than a rematch with Michigan.

Would love to see ND beat up on USC... Hope it happens... But if it does, why should Mich be the automatic opponent for OSU?? What about Florida should they win out? Same for Arkansas?? The SEC is a tougher conference than the Big Ten - probably the toughest conference in all College Football...

This is why I am in favor of some sort of playoff system....
And, I think it's ridiculous that OSU doesn't play another football game for another 7 weeks!!!! STUPID!

USC impressed me. Their run game is too good for Notre Dame's poor defense and Notre Dame won't be able to run on USC. Brady Quinn will get hammered. I see a 21 point blowout.

USC's defense is much, much better than last season. They would've easily handled Texas if they could've matched this year's defense with last year's offense.

But, I think it will be a close game. I don't see a blowout for either side.

The interesting thing Saturday was USC hasn't had a pass rush all year and that's why I thought Cal would win, but they got in Longshore's face early and often and really shook him up.

I also thought a huge play in the game, that should have been a penalty, was the huge helmet to helmet hit on DeSean Jackson, I'm not convinced he was ever over that hit there are reports on a Cal board I read that he was still a bit foggy in the 4th quarter.

USC just played lights out, so many big hits from the secondary. I still think the Pimentel td called back was a bad call but USC took Cal apart in the 2nd half, they earned it.
