Mark Update

Hey everyone, Its been a couple months since I have been on here due to some issues but everything is good now. I wanted to give you guys an update on my brother Mark, he is doing GREAT he is actually doing better than he was before his accident because now they have found his heart murmor and have put him on medication to help avoid the blackouts, which resulted in him being in ICU last time.

On Valentines day Nathan Hodel came to Marks hospital room and brought him a t-shirt and an autographed Matt Leinart hat.. Then took his authentic jersey right off of his back and signed it and gave it to Mark. I have never seen Mark so happy in my life, he actually told the nurse to "Beat it" because she interupted him talking to Nate. LOL Its was funny. Nathan has been emailing me and asking about how Mark is doing, I'll tell you what he has a couple fans for life. My whole family was so touched by his actions, he stayed at the hospital and talked to Mark over an hour, I knew he had to go, especially on Valentines day. I just wanted to share that story and let everyone know Mark is doing great, He is doing Physical Therapy now. Thanks again to everyone here who prayed and donated for Mark, It really meant alot. The Cardinals and its Fans are hands down the BEST in the NFL.

Funny Story... Mark obviously had some problems remembering things since his brain damage so he kept calling Nate number #48. So I told him "Mark, his name is Nate Hodel" and then he would repeat it. I would ask him what his name was about 5 seconds later and would get "umm #48" So I told him an easy way to remember his last name is to remember it sounds like hotel. So 8 weeks later he is still calling him Nathan Hotel.....

That is awesome news, thanks for posting, Albert. I had the privilege of meeting Mark one time at halftime at SDS and I am so glad to hear he is doing better.
