I love this guy. I think he is playing at a very high level and I think he is playing smarter THIS season. There was one sack yesterday where he was careful not to land on the QB and get a roughing penalty. I'm not sure what I expected from the 'Golden Boy', but he is exceeding my expectations. Maybe it is the J.J. Watt presence. Maybe it is coaching. Or maybe he is finally developing in a solid veteran NFL starter. :)

I think he has improved some every year he has been in the league. not massive leaps, but steady improvement. And I, for one, was glad we kept him, even if it meant losing Reddick to FA. And don't remember who said it, but he is the new B-Train for us!

I will never forget when we picked him. I thought Shane Ray was much better at Missouri and it was a reach pick. Now Shane Ray is out of the league (I think), and Golden is playing a key role on the league's top defense.
I mean, Golden was really production at Mizzou too, it's just that Shane Ray had better measurables.

Sometimes you just have to trust your eyes, and Golden was a splash player at Mizzou too.

Even when Golden doesn't get sacks, he still gets pressure in bunches.

Golden has had 2 seasons with double digit sacks in his career he’s always been a good NFL player. JJ Watt hasn’t thrown some magical dust on him.

He gets after the QB always has
