That was my first thought.

Goldy strikes out watching strike 3.

That was are first game at the Bob. We just jumped on board and man they're killing us already. We where jacked when Goldy was up to bat. He looked hot early.

How many runners did they leave on base with no outs. That is 2nd or 3rd with no outs. I think 4 or 5 with no outs and 2 with 2 outs. Around 7 for the night in scoring position. I kept telling my son one hit and we have a tie game and free tacos.

In just my long month as a fan they have pissed away about 3 games I thought they had. It turned out not to matter but Goldy getting out at home with no outs putting runners in a double play situation was not to smart either. This team looks like they could be good with a hit here or there. You guys talk about pitching but man a timely hit would not hurt right about now.

Still My son had a blast he did not care he's only 12. He got on the Jumbo Tron 4 times that made his year. He acted like a nut from the 3rd inning on it's all he cared about. So in all it was a fun night.

"Hit a routine fly ball" is a helluva lot different than "Hit a home run".

There is no easy play in baseball, but I think hitting a routine fly ball is one of the easiest.
