Marlins are gonna break the bank to fill that new ballpark. Then when the crappy Miami fans still don't turn out, the ownership is gonna be bankrupt.

if they get yet another ring - I sure wont care

however, this ownership isn't messing around now that they have their new revenue ......... er stadium

Jose Reyes - you're up and signed

SP is next by hook or crook

should be an exciting squad and for what it's worth this ownership group hasn't had a single fire sale in florida ..... not like evil wayne and his horrible lease agreement (to himself)

They're the front runners for Wilson and Buehrle. They are also apparently going to be making a big push for Pujols in the next couple of days. Crazy. That's going to be a dangerous team if they get all these guys and pair them with Ramirez, Morrison, and Johnson.

There is a lot of Pujols chatter - but I still have a hard time believing it will happen .... I also find it highly unlikely that they get both Buehrle & Wilson

At this point Johnson - despite being a beast when healthy - is officially on the concerned if he can make it through a season list

There is also a pretty big gap in CF - they love Cespedes out of Cuba for a variety of reasons, but his price may end up too high for them with some of their other moves

It will definitely be interesting though and it's still very early in the offseason

I think they'll get one of either Wilson or Buehrle, but not both. They'll probably put Bonafacio in CF. I don't see Pujols leaving St. Louis, but if the money is right, who knows. I see them being a dark horse team for Fielder.

I agree - i think they'll land Buehrle and have boni in CF ....... then it comes down to wha they want to do to round it all out

A lot of directions they could go in ...... i could definitely see a situation where they start putting together a package that includes Gaby Sanchez & Matt Dominguez (3rd base prospect, now buried) as well as another minor leaguer (chad james or someone) ...... with that package maybe get an OF and move Morrison to 1B or an SP with a FA 1B (prince/albert)/OF (Cespedes)

Former Met, current batting champ (via bunt) & complete tool Jose Reyes will make Ozzie Guillen's eyes roll a few times next season. I hope Reyes has about 40 errors & hits .205... TOOL!
