Points allowed per game:
Rams - 24.0
Cardinals - 15.3

Yards allowed per game:
Rams - 379.3
Cardinals - 370.0

Turnovers:
Cardinals - 10
Rams - 0

New Orleans also managed to score a game-tying field goal after the Rams took the lead with :28 seconds left on the clock thanks to Marmie's infamous soft zone in front of the three man rush.

Who would have guessed that Clancy Pendergast, a man Cleveland allowed to come here and was lambasted as being a nepotistic hire has a better scheme than Marmie, a long-time coordinator and former collegiate head coach? Pendergast is accomploishiing more with less than our former DC who luckily was hired by a team within our division. Hopefully Martz and him stay around a few more years so we can truly take advantage of this.

Oh yeah, and where are all the Rams fans who said that Marmie would be better because he has good players in St. Louis?

I don't think Clancy was called nepotistic at all. He worked in Dallas, he wasn't one of the guys who can't get a job except from Green.

Had no idea he would make THIS big of an impact of course, but I don't recall anybody being overly down on him when we hired him.

Wood was a surprise and clearly not Green's first choice(colletto was).

I wonder why colletto did not come here..I had forgotten about that. It would have been a promotion (oline coach to OC)....

Was this the coach who wanted more money? I remember some media type (I think it was Jurecki)...commenting that we spent all of our $$ on Green and did not leave enough for Assistants...not sure if that is accurate...

The nepotism conspiracy theory was based on the fact the Pendergast family has a bunch of land by the Cards new stadium.

The best move was not getting Colletto. That guy coached at OSU and was terrible. If OSU did not have far superior talent to everyone in the country he would've had them struggling to be a .500 team.Look at Purdue after Tiller took over for him.
