Matt Leinart has had a great pre-season and should be the starting QB!

I'm talking about the Rams when Warner got his start in the NFL.

Sounds like you're talking about regular season games. I'm talking about preseason.

Ok I thought you were talking about the 2008 preseason. And the Warner numbers I was referring to were from regular season games in 2007.

I know I was so focused on Warner's age after the 2007 season that I hadn't really looked at the numbers and how he played on film. After looking back at that year in replays and seeing the numbers it was easy to understand why CKW went with Warner over Leinart in 2008.

That's how Warner got his start was in the preseason.

Ironically he hasn't had a good preseason in years..

Um. What? Warner made the Rams in 1998 despite throwing a whopping four passes in preseason games. He won the roster spot based on his performance in practice, and got the backup job in 1999 before preseason started. And he didn't light it up or stink that preseason, either.

Really, he got his start because he was impressive in training camp and ran the scout team well.

Wow we could only hope but if your listening to the media they have him going everywhere but here. We can only hope but I think the coach/player relationship is not there and beyond repair at this point.

I could see a scenario where Leinart is here this year, but you know for a fact he's gonna be gone next year. The Cards were going to have to redo his deal at the end of this year and If he said no they'd have to seriously think about releasing him just like they did with Rolle.

Umm you arent listening. Its not just about stats. :bang:

It certainly not about who has sacrificed his last 3 years and kept his mouth shut. It is more about an Egotistical Head Coach...!!!

Matt opens up once in 5 years and some of you guys call him a cancer. I guess that Matt doesn't pray to the same God that others do on this team.

Matt sorry that you had to endure this treatment.
