I'm assuming that Houston will be able to close the deal today (they are leading SF), which means Leinart will be picked ahead of Reggie Bush and will go to the NO Saints who will inherit the #1 pick.

I agree with NO picking Leinhart if given the chance... But I have my doubts with Houston winning and closing the deal.... But that's just me.... They are only up by 3 now... But even if Hoston were to lose, I still think Leinhart gos to NO....San Fran Has their QOF....

If Aaron Brooks leaves the Saints as expected, Leinart is their pick.....make zero mistake about this. They have a top 5 RB already in Deuce McAllister.

I don't see NO paying Bush that much money to be a backup to McCallister... They just signed him to a mega deal for longterm too... Unless they are looking to drop him and his salary!!!!

They're supposedly in love with Leinart anyway and with Brooks on his way out, its almost a certainty that they take him

What's funny to me is that I keep reading these reports that the Jets hate Leinart and there's no way they're going to draft him. It's really wierd to be smoke coming this early in the process. I have no idea what's going on. Maybe they're trying to entire Vince Young to come out?

K9,

Josh McCown ends up with the Jets.

Um... putting Josh McCown in New York City would be the biggest disaster, probably ever. It takes a special kind of person to handle the spotlight of being a starting QB in the Big Apple, and a guy who specializes in playing well in games that don't mean anything doesn't really live up to the meaning of "special" that I'm talking about.

It won't matter about the Jets because the Saints, who has one more loss then the Jets, will pick Matt up...

I'm cheering for San Francisco. They are in field goal range in overtime. We need the 49ers to win so we don't see Bush twice a year.

Frisco Wins....NO MORE BUSH!:)

It's too bad. With Frank Gore at RB for SF, I was kinda hoping for a backfield of Bush & Gore next year. :D

If Gore lost out to Bush for the starting job, he'd have to grow some huge scraggly ridiculous beard.
