Stats are just stats, you can spell them backwords (stats) or upside down and they still just spell stats. If Leenart throws for 200 yards, it means he probably needed 40 completions to get those 200 yards, statisticaly speaking that is.

It would almost help us defensively in the long run if Leinart ate us alive. Then they would believe what Horton is telling them about nobody's job being safe and a general lack of fundamentals etc. This defense doesn't respect Leinart at all. If he torches them it may be the best thing for our team as a whole. It would shame our defense and our offense completely. The press will go crazy. Leinart will give a lot of cool interviews in our home state. And it will last all. week. long.

I don't want us to play poorly, but if we do I hope we get ass-whipped in spectacular fashion. There's only a few more weeks to get this thing right, and I'd rather have the shame now and a chance to fix it before the real games start.

Nah with Leinart and Kolb playing, I don't see how one doesn't leave injured.

As for the past couple of seasons, he would of just been another QB to get injured most likely and thus the above would have played a couple of less games each and/or one of them not any at all and the rest about the same.

Skelton was sacked for safeties on back to back plays. Safety kick off defensive stop, get the ball back, first play, sack for a safety.

Because he got 2 safeties in a game. Not just one game, but 2 safeties in successive series in the same game. I believe RugbyMuffin gave him that nickname. It's my favorite nick, frankly. LOL!!
