Gambo and Ash were talking about Matt Williams and they made a really great point. Having Williams in the booth (regardless of how terrible he is) is really a conflict of interest as he is an owner. His view points are slanted towards the organization and not exactly impartial at all.

I've noticed that he feels it's necessary to justify all the moves of the organization. Beyond that, the guy is just terrible, he seems so grumpy and distant in the booth. If they need substitute broadcaster to cover vaction/time off, hire a guy (not Garagiola) that is going to tell it like it is.

The more I listen to games on the radio, the more I think the Gubner, Candy and Jeff Munn should just be on TV as well. Let them do a simulcast.

Announcers are going to be employees of the team. Right? Doesn't that present a danger to "impartiality"? This is silly. It is sports, who cares? If you don;t like the announcers, don't listen.
