All the talent in the world but can't win anything… He's a choaker... sorry but I'm tired of retreads we need to develop our own as a rookie and keep them around for 15 years

I agree but while we're developing a QBOF have a guy who can get around a little better than CP

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the Lions aren't committing to Stafford as their quarterback beyond this year.

Such a stance makes sense considering Stafford hasn't lived up to expectations. The team fired general manager Martin Mayhew and president Tom Lewand, per ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.

With a new regime coming to Detroit and the current inside track for the No. 1 overall draft pick, the Lions could replace Stafford with a more cost-effective—and more effective in general—option."

That was an article from last November.

Send them Floyd and a draft package.

Would be smart on their part... Staffird isn't a winner and not the answer for any team at QB long term.

He's a fantasy star... not much else... doesn't make the layers around him better... if you watch any lions games you would know he is not clutch and chokes as well...

Hes very similar to Palmer.

Big arm for down field throws, but he makes the same dumb decisions. Lots of picks.

Yea, would much rather draft a QB in the late first than trade for non-top 10 QB.

You're right. Just need to draft Tom Brady and call it day.

Jim Schwartz and Jim Caldwell. Bonehead HCs.

Scott Linehan, Joe Lombardi, Jim Bob Cooter etc as OCs.

That organization is such a mess that I'd gladly take Stafford in the next 2 years if he becomes available.

Just saw this. Stafford first QB to complete 2300 passes in first 100 games.

A solid coaching staff that knows that they're doing can do wonders. Look at Sam Bradford. No quarterback would've done anything with that crap.
