Since there is time before the game, I'll ask this here. Is this the most excited you've ever been to watch a rookie play, like enough that losing won't stop you from staying excited and keeping you from watching? I'm not a Suns fan, but I am happy for the fans and organization that you get this level of excitement for the future. I remember when D-Rose came in and how excited I was to see what he would be, but I didn't feel the same about Brand. I had more for Curry/Chandler than Brand.
This IS the most excited I've been about a rookie, but it will only temper my disappointment if everything else is bad. Kind of like Rosen and the Cardinals.
I can live with that, for the time being.Interesting way of putting it.
Looks like some of the games he had for us last year. Solid facilitator, poor shooter and at best a mediocre defender. He is better than our other options, but I don't like the fit with his inability to make outside shots.OT:
Elfrid Payton is playing well as a starter for the Pelicans tonight.

He was tanking at times without question. It's the only way to explain just how bad he was after the first 10 or so games.I think some things happened when Elfrid was with the Suns that we are not privy. It's too bad because he could have run the offense and gotten the ball to Ayton. I think he can play better than he did in Phoenix and perhaps that's why he is not here.
