Wednesday the Mavericks visit the Suns for a game that will start later than normal probably because of ESPN coverage. Game time is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Here is more from Scott Bordow's game update.

Mavericks at Suns

When: 8:30 p.m.

Where: Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Quote
TV/radio: ESPN/FSAZ/KTAR 98.7 FM.

Update: The Suns are 17-34 and have lost five straight games and eight of their past nine. The Mavericks are 16-35 and have lost four straight and seven of their past eight. The Suns could be short-handed again. Devin Booker (rib), Marquese Chriss (ankle) and Alex Len (ankle) are all listed as questionable for the game. J.J. Barea (oblique) is questionable for Dallas. The Suns have beaten the Mavericks three straight games. Dallas rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. did not play in the teams’ only game this season, though. Smith is averaging 14.7 points and 4.8 assists per game and could be a matchup problem if Booker can’t go.

Could of would of if Bled had been honest with this team.

come on... the team KNEW he was going to ask for a MAX extension. They also KNEW they weren't going to give it to him. You put two and two together there and they should have had to foresight to know his days were numbered here and picked his replacement accordingly.

And if they DIDN'T know any of the above, they're idiots. Plain and simple.

Throwing that on Bledsoe is ridiculous.

Dallas is shooting worse than the Suns... by a good margin. They are shooting 21.4 %.

The Suns are shooting 58.3 %.

It is early but it is looking like a Suns win tonight as they lead 23-8 with 4:29 left in 1st quarter.

Bender with the wide open 3 and he passes the ball.

Triano should have called a timeout.

It looks like a serious injury to Canaan.

He is down on the floor with lots of staff around him.

Going off the floor by stretcher.

No replay... that bad.

35-17 now with 20.9 seconds left in the 1st quarter. Canaan down with an injury.

With Monroe gone and Len out, Bender is the backup Center.

Dirk just hit a '3', but he is definitely past his prime.
