At least we're at .500. That was the goal set by Gentry anyway.

Barely any fans at the games. Not surprising considering we're just 16-13 at home.

Suns down 109-106 with 17.3 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Mavs ball.

Sigh. If we didn't give up that putback by Chandler, we'd be playing for a tie on our possesion.

I wish someone would ask him "So in retrospect, how do you feel about playing no centers in the final four minutes?"

The Suns were out coached and out played tonight. Also the Mavs can send wave after wave of talent against the Suns. The Suns not having a backup PG and a pure shooter really hurts.

That game hurt. Our bigs (mostly Lopez ) helped keep us in the game and then in the important part of the game, they made sure the bench didn't fly up and hit the crowd, like Theo Hukkstubble. ( Cosby reference ) :p

Grant struggled tonight and was one of the reason for the loss, but it just comes down to Dallas being the better team.
Nice efforts from Suns, they at least compete, hopefully they will get enough rest during ASB to make the needed push for PO

After scoring Gortat in some crazy fortune, and while Lopez was having a monster of a game, Gentry lost his damn mind.

Grant struggled, Dudley struggled, Pietrus was absolutely USELESS, I think Gortat is gassed as he's not used to this many minutes.

Yet with all that we still had a shot in this game until Gentry went braindead.

The Suns were the better team when Nash was on the floor. In 36+ minutes the Suns outscored Dallas by 8. Unfortunately, in less than 12 minutes of play the Suns without Nash were outscored by 14. Basically, for the Suns to have won this game, Nash would have had to finish with at least a +15 for the game. This is asking too much. Our bench, without Nash, cannot keep getting killed like this in so few minutes. Say what you will about Gentry's strategy late in this game, but the Suns were leading this game when Nash went to the bench the last time, and were trailing again when he came back. The Suns overcame that against Utah, but Dallas is a much tougher opponent.

It's funny how in the NBA a foul is not a foul against Frye but the Suns can't even touch Dirk without a whistle.
Marv Albert called it when he said, "Welcome back to Dallas." after a timeout and had to catch himself from almost doing it again.

Dallas was keying in on the Nash pick and roll with Gortat like they used to when Amare was here. Lopez was running free and was benched during crunch time.

Homie never benched our centers like he did tonight, I give him respect for building and sticking with a starting line up. He messed up tonight, it's ok and it's early in the season.

That's the key. When we went small (a delayed reaction to Dirk playing Center), we stayed small for all but a few seconds for the whole rest of the game . . . even though we were just a few points behind.

When Dallas brought Tyson Chandler back in, Gortat should have immediately been brought back in at Center. That's when the Mavs locked up the victory.

Bad move!

You guys are hilarious. The reason we lost this game was because of the 5 or 6 minutes at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th when the bench put us in a 10-point hole. We were trading leads until that point, and then once Nash came back in we were down and couldn't make it up.
