The San Antonio Spurs made it easy for the Dallas Mavericks. That won't happen when they hook up again in a few days. With Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili getting the night off, the Mavericks needed only a 16-2 run at the end of the first quarter to put themselves on their way to a 96-89 victory Wednesday night that sets up a first-round playoff matchup between these teams.
