Well so far I don't like the 2nd unit at all. Telfair is much better but for some reason Morris still thinks this is the summer league and keep throwing up shots. I see a lot if the players on the second unit just trying to get there points and not playing as a team yet. Starts are looking and O'Neil is looking to be a nice back up if he can stay healthy. Marshall maybe out of the line up and might be sent down to D League.

Gortat is playing some good Def. I would like to see Dudley with the second unit. Garrett looks better than Marshall out there, he is at least not playing scared.

LOL where the people who were hating on O'Neal when we signed him?

If he keeps this up, he will probably take the startign job from Gortat especially with Marcin playing so damn soft.

I like the starting unit but the bench is horrible.

I think we're gonna need either Scola to go to the bench and Morris starting or Dudley to go the bench and Wes/Brown starting to give the bench at least one veteran player who can calm them down when things start to go horrible.

I like Tucker. Brings defensive intensity this team hasn't seen in a while. Every game he gets at least one steal that he had to earn. And Diogu should stick around. He made some smart plays and he goes after rebounds on both ends. The Suns will need that.

On the other hand, Morris plays dumb still and his shot selection is horrendous.

Only got to see the second half. I was impressed by the PG play of Dragic. Although Telfair made some mistakes I liked how he ran the team as well. He was aggressive. Dudley made some nice shots and quick drives inside. After seeing Diogu in the second half, the Suns need to take a closer look at him because they need another physical presence. Maybe O'Neal was impressive in the first half but I did not see it in the second half. Jae Crowder looked impressive for Dallas.

Giving up combined 30 pts to old washed up players like Brand and Kaman.

Did you even watch the game? All Brand and Kamans points came from the perimeter, both are have been always able to knockdown the short to mid jumpers. Once the got tired both start missing everything.

I agree with you. Crowder reminds me of that PF/SF in Denver , Farell??sp? O'Neal still was in there playing D, the second unit didn't play well together that is for sure.

I was wondering who Crowder reminds me of. He does remind me of Kenneth Faried. Crowder was all over the place and did just about everything. I think he was an early second round pick obtained from Cleveland. Somebody did their homework.

Dirk didn't play and most starters didn't play that much. 2nd unit needs some work. Telfair all but locked up the locked up the back up pg spot. It was odd that Marshall did not get any floor time.

Oh ok, I completely forgot that if big men start knocking down jumpers, its no longer Gortat's responsibility to defend it ;)

And "started missing everything"? Did you even see their FG%?

Both Brand and Kaman were in the starting lineup so I think it's fair to say that not all 27* of their combined points were on Gortat.

Heh, I had high expectations from the start and I'm pleased with what he gives us.

crowder looks very impressive so far. he is taking and making a lot of big shots. carlisle is playing him because he has to with dirk out, but maybe that will be a blessing in disguise if they can hold it together.
