Much could happen before the actual first selection, but quite a few people now are putting Mayfield first. On Sept. 29 I posted he topped my QB list and I took quite a bit of heat. I have consistently maintained Mayfield on top. Of course how they eventually play is what really counts, but I don’t think you’ll find any other draft guru who had Mayfield on top as early as a September.

If Cleveland goes QB and not Barkley, then they deserve to lose again this season.

Crazy talk - why would you spend a #1 on an RB? RB gets you 2000 yards/season and touches the ball less than 50% snaps on offense - the QB is over 4000 yards and almost 100% snaps on offense...

They have the 4th pick and honestly, they would be good with any QB left after the next 2 picks. If they didn't have the 4th overall pick, my idea of Barkley would be different.

That means you value the top 3 QBs equally, and they likely want the one they think is best, still have an option for Barkley at #4 or can trade down, if he's gone.

no.

they want a particular guy. if they dont draft mayfield then the jets grab him at 3...also a good chance if they dont draft Darnold the Giants grab him at 2

you dont build a football team by just taking whichever QB is left

Yep, I feel all top 4 or 5 QBs have their pluses and minuses. I don't think any of them are better then the other.
