If Malik Hooker is there I take him. I don't know how he is sliding out of the top ten but he's an easy choice.

I do like the idea of two first round picks which nets the Cardinals a cornerback and OBOTF.

Trade a 2018 pick, which I've suggested numerous times.

If they drafted Humphrey over Hooker & Reddick I'll throw up in my mouth but I don't think Keim is dumb as Rod Graves would be lol

Btw I think Humpreys gonna bust & clearly doesn't fit what Big Red does defensively

It'd have to be a 2018 first and I'm not doing that, considering the QBs next year, even as much as I love Mahomes. More than willing to do it for our third.

Agreed on Hooker though - I didn't look at Mayock's mock to see he was still there when we drafted Humpreys.

If you where the Cardinals and you are feeling uneasy about drafting Mahomes in the early first or especially later in the round, then do not draft him because you have to believe in the QB which represents the most crucial position on the team or it's just a wasted pick in my opinion... drafting a QB is a strange Catch 22 of confidence and getting lucky

I agree that if we pass on Hooker it means we love a Safety later in the draft but unfortunately we don't have any picks left to get him.

Hooker would be an awesome pick, not just because he's an incredible player, but also because he's from my home town. Granted, I didn't qualify to go to NeCa (New Castle) High--THANK GOD!--living outside the city as we did. I guarantee you he's tough, coming from that school. They once had a player stab another player on the practice field! But, hey, it's my home town, and it's Hooker's, so I'd love it if we had a shot at picking him.

In my opinion, if the Cardinals really want Mahomes, they need to trade down and take him, not give up their 2nd and 3rd round picks.

The second Mayock said CB Marlon Humphrey I uttered a Bill Polian: "GONG." There is no way that Humphrey is the BPA at #13. It would be better to take Mahomes (because at least he's the QBOF) and then draft Quincy Wilson, Chidobe Awuzie or Cordrea Tankerlsey at #45 and then still have pick #77 in which to take BPA.

I can't see them drafting Humphrey when both Hooker and Davis are there. I have no problem with the trade up though.

I can't remember (or find) any example of a first round pick traded for just next year's second. That would be absolutely awful value for any team.

I had the Cardinals taking Hooker in my latest mock. Wasn't sure if he would fall to the Cardinals but it doesn't sound so crazy now.
