Doubtful. Only if Josh is sucking will that happen.
Carolina will be a good test for the team and Josh. More will be expected from the fans and the coaches. We need to win this game next week. GO Cards!!!

I can't believe you actully blieve this, I would say there is about 100% chance Green goes back to Warner after the bye week.

I'm a chucklehead on a message board that can't believe you did'nt see it.If Warner gives him any advise I'd advise him to not pay any attention to Kurt.Warner is looking for a big payday next year and it is very easy to see he is not happy with the way Josh played tonight.Josh is like a very big old dog around Warner looking for a pat on the head.

Careful who you call a chucklehead.

Exactly what makes you think Warner and McCown have some sort of dislike or rivalry?

Neither have ever done or said anything to indicate that. It actually seems like McCown respects Warner...

Warner gave McCown advice.

I am sure McCown, who has spent several months on the team with Warner, has a lot firmer grip on his relationship with Warner than chuckleheads making assumptions on a fan message board.

Well this Chucklehead dosen't think Warner is all he claims to be or as much as Mr. supportive or let me put it this way.

Warner is fine with Josh cause he knows he's better than Josh, unless Josh wins the game and then he might not be so fine with Josh.

At the time he gave him all the advice we were losing 14 to nothing and he probably figured he'd look good since Josh had a mic.

I watched a lot of St. Louis games and the fans there got tired of the guy constantly saying his thumb was fine while it wasn't. It isn't past Warner to say one thing and mean another or to try to look good when he knows he's being watched.

I never have liked Warner, I think he's a phony amoung other things. Josh isn't phony but I doubt he even sees how phony Kurt can be but again this is all my opinion and as such means squat.

But then again that goes for yours too.

McCown threw for 383 yard and 2 TDs. In no way does that equate with how he was playing last year. If he throws for 140 yds and 3 INTs against Carolina, you will be right. But, not if he does this well again.

Josh also made up for 1/3 of our rushing. We aren't going to be able to pass on every team like we did against the 49ers. That running game needs to still improve.

Stoked for todays win though!

The guys who played and coached on the Giants last year totally disputed this. They had zero reason to speak highly of Warner if they thought he was a phony. Sure, it's all opinion, but I'd say the Giants' opinions carry a tad more weight than any of the armchair psychology we're reading tonight.

Again I am sure that you know much more about this with your incredibly biased opinions than the people involved. "Kurt Warner is a phony". Please.

Some of these posts are just classic.

Sucks that, even if he does well after this, he'll be benched when Warner's ready.

That, in my opinion, will be the true test of Dennis Green as a coach. Warner is an obvious sitting duck with our current O-line. A skillful thrower that is a non-athlete will not get the job done as the starter. Keep McCown as the starter, and draft a QB!

Didn't he do it in Minny? Didn't he start Jeff George out of injury but stick with him once he had the hot hand?

I haven't been a supporter or a doubter on either side so sorry no. I am just happy the Cardinals won.

I think you are making huge leaps of judgement based on little information. If you are comfortable with that, more power to you.

Again, no one on the Giants could see through Kurt last year? I find that hard to believe, but maybe you guys really are that smart.

Again what do the Giants have to do with us?

For one thing it's an entirely different situation.

He knew that he wasn't their long term answer and as such it is easier to act as he did.

The phony part comes from his time in St. Louis not at the Giants. I have several friends from there and it's split about 50-50 as to love and hate on the guy.

Here's a thought, how would a city be split on a former NFL MVP 50-50... there is no such split in Green Bay or amoung other MVP QB's yet that city dosen't resoundingly support him like other cities do MVP's.

That's what I base my opinon on.
